Keywords: Righteousness, Fairness, Condemnation, Truth
A follower of the path of Justice believes in fairness and righteousness.
This can involve
There are many forms of Justice in the world from blind Justice, to impartial Justice and when creating a character you should attempt to exemplify a form of Justice that fits the character best. Any character who follows Justice may sometimes be called upon to Justify your actions to the Path and The Gods if necessary.
For Priests and particularly devout characters
Casters of Justice call upon a combination of the powers of Life, Order and Justice, and should view the undead as a mockery of Life that should be destroyed. They should also value making plans that preserve and protect. A character who can cast the powers of Justice Life and Order should avoid beneficial durational castings of Death and Chaos being cast upon them unless the situation calls upon a action being absolutely necessary. A caster of Justice should outright refuse beneficial durational Anarchy miracles and should only accept under dire circumstances. Instant miracles, such as Remove Slow, are left to the character to decide.
Anything that looks like this is a restricted casting that needs requesting from the Character Ref. In addition, your character must be of the minimum rank indicated before they can learn the casting.

Range: Self
Duration: 15 Minutes, or until used
Type: Informational, Mental
Target: Person
Resisted by: Willpower
Effect:
This miracle allows the caster to discern whether the previous one minute’s worth of statements by a speaker within 10’ contained either a lie or a deliberately misleading statement if the speaker fails to resist. The caster is aware of which statement, or statements, were lies or misleading. The caster may choose when to call Detect Lie, as long as the miracle is still active. The speaker must be within 10’ of the caster when Detect Lie is called, and be a valid target for mental effects.
The caster does not know if the speaker is affected by this miracle i.e. if the character has sufficient Willpower (whether natural or enhanced through spells/miracles).
Note that a lie is an intentionally false statement contrary to the knowledge of the target. Thus the information provided can still be wrong but will not be detected as a lie if the target believes the information to be true.
Range: Self
Duration: 15 minutes
Type: Offensive, Mental
Target: Area (10’ Radius of Caster)
Resisted by: Willpower
Effect:
All characters within 10’ of the Caster must tell the truth whenever they communicate if they fail to resist. Note that this miracle does not force anyone to speak. The call for this is “Truthful Aura <n>”.
The caster does not know if the targeted characters are affected by this miracle i.e. if the characters have sufficient Willpower (whether natural or enhanced through spells/miracles).
Note that a lie is an intentionally false statement contrary to the knowledge of the caster. Thus the information provided can still be wrong but will not be detected as a lie if the target believes the information to be true.
Range: Touch
Duration: Instantaneous
Type: —
Target: Dead body
Effect:
Once a Resurrection has been cast on the target, then a single ‘guide’ is required who is responsible for bringing the target back to life. The Resurrection fails (though can be cast again) if any of the following conditions are met:
The time taken to bring the target back to life is:
5 minutes + the amount of time the target was dead when the Resurrection was cast
Resurrection brings a dead character back to life providing his Death Threshold is at least 1 and he has not been dead for more than 1 hour. This miracle will work as long as the character’s Head and Chest is present and connected.
Once resurrected, the character loses a Death Threshold is returned to life with at least 0 Life Points. If the character died from a severed Head or Chest and his Life Points are greater than 0, he will have the same Life Points when he is raised.
In addition, the character’s body is restored to working order sufficient to sustain life (all locations with less than 0 Body Points are healed to 0, though broken bones are not mended and missing limbs are not restored).
The character’s Mana and Standing are the same as when the character died.
Note that animating a body drives the original spirit away from it, thus preventing a Resurrection miracle from working. This miracle has no effect on Undead.
Range: Touch
Duration: Instantaneous

Target: Dead body
Effect:
True Resurrection acts like Resurrection, except that the character is returned to life on his full Life Points and Body Points (including mending broken bones) on all non-missing locations.
